Don’t let anyone tell you that your emotions aren’t valid. Don’t let anyone tell you that being a man means not showing how you feel or breathing toxic masculinity into the world. Don’t let ANYONE tell you that crying is weak. Warriors feel EVERY emotion.
There’s a quote that says “men only cry because they lose something or are afraid of losing something that they love as much as or more than themselves” and that’s complete bullshit. I cry watching movies. I cry when I’m exhausted and at my limit. I cry when I mourn. I cry when I think of the things I’ve done that have hurt others. I cry when I’m overjoyed and don’t know how else to properly express the emotion. I cry when I see people put everything on the line for someone or something that they feel truly passionate about. I cry because I’m a Hümban and it’s one of the healthiest releases of stress we have.
